When hiding something, many people place it in such an easy spot that anyone can get to it and find it. Or, they are the other way around and place it somewhere it would take them an hour to get to, like in the sewers.
When hiding something you should be able to get to it within 5 - 10 minutes and it should be relatively hard to find. Heres a few places to hide things where most people won't look.
Unscrew the end of the door hinge that this guy is unscrewing and cut a block about 1 CM across and 3 CM high out of the block that would be hidden by the door hinge. There you can easily hide any type of card. Security Card, Business Card? Safe lock combination if you forget it.
Another good place is to pre cut out a compartment under a wood floor if you have one on the side of the wall. Another great place is to cut out a piece of trim from the bottom of the floor and cut a hole into the wall. Then make sure the trim pops back into place over the hole.
And remember, NEVER hide something in a dropped ceiling! That is one of the first places someone would check. Never hide something under your bed, T.V, In a vent or behind a dresser or some other object.
Another good place might be inside your actual computer. Hidden under your hard drive.
