I just updated to 5.00m33

Alright, dammit. I tried.

I got the updates working and everything, but when I hit X to update to 5.00 I dropped my PSP and the damn battery fell out.

I'm stuck with a brick now, and I don't have a pandora. Recovery mode doesn't work because I don't have USB cable, as I am using a Sony Camera Adapter (The kind you use to process photos, the memory stick goes directly in it)

Big question: Can I use recovery without a USB cable?

I honestly don't want to buy one, but having working electronics instead of junk laying around would be nice.

I never once needed a USB Cable to enter my Recovery Mode... o_O

Omfg. Just shut the hell up if you don't understand the context. I need the recovery file, but I don't have the means to recover. I am lacking files that I can't get because I can't transfer in recovery mode.

yea, u need a usb cable or if u have a memory stick adapter u can just connect it to the computer(if it has a m.adapter slot).
